Chamberlayne Baptist Preschool is a nationally accredited school recognized by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAFYC). The school offers a full program of instruction to children from 2 to 4 years of age with classes held daily from 9-12, generally following the Hanover County Public School System.
Programs
Two/Three Year Program: The two/three year program offers a choice of a 2 day class (Tuesday, Thursday) or a 3 day class (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). With this schedule, the child is introduced to the school setting on alternate days. Basic social, academic, and spiritual learning is encouraged in this program.
Four Year Program: The four year program continues the learning process with a choice of a 3 day class (M,W,F) or a 5 day class. Attention is given to reading readiness and number concepts. Activities which encourage attentive listening and following directions are played in preparation for kindergarten.
Enrichment classes in music, Bible story, library and movement by Stretch N Grow, as well as Romp N Roll are offered daily.
Extended hours from 12:00 to 2:00 are also available.
